Feature-packed 'phones from the home-theater experts
Denon makes some our best-selling home theater receivers. Two key reasons for their popularity? Top-notch audio and an extensive feature-set. The Denon AH-GC20 noise-canceling headphones offer these same advantages, on-the-go. Active circuitry helps knock out external noise so you can focus on the powerful, natural sound. Music and other audio plays wirelessly via Bluetooth.
Like to use headphones to watch videos and shows? Denon included aptX Low Latency, a wireless technology that keeps the audio and video in better sync (it works best with compatible devices like the SoundCast VGtx wireless TV/headphone transmitter).

Features
Overview: The Denon AH-GC20 Globe Cruiser wireless headphones allow you to enjoy high quality music and phone calls in peace and quiet while you travel. With Bluetooth 4.0 and Active Noise Cancelling, you can listen wirelessly, without distraction, wherever you go. The AH-GC20s come with a full tool box of accessories, including an audio cable, 1/4" and airline adapters, USB charging cable, and high-quality zippered travel case.
Drivers: The headphones are equipped with large 40mm professionally tuned dynamic drivers to deliver a natural sound. Denon's decades of headphone design help provide a balanced sound without unwanted colorations, so you'll hear your music the way the artist intended.
Bluetooth: The AH-GC20 headphones feature the latest Bluetooth 4.0 technology with Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) and Dual Mode connectivity. In Dual Mode, you can pair the headphones to two devices simultaneously. Although you can only use one device at a time (to listen to music or make phone calls), you can easily switch between paired devices. The headphones also include aptX and aptX Low Latency to give you CD quality audio when listening to compressed music.
Clear Voice Capture (cVc): Qualcomm's Clear Voice Capture (cVc) utilizes several technologies to make your wireless phone calls as clear as possible. This noise reduction system includes adaptive equalization, automatic gain control, echo cancellation, wind noise reduction, and noise dependent volume control to enhance the audio quality of your two-way communications.
Active Noise Cancelling (ANC): Denon's proprietary Active Noise Cancelling effectively reduces or eliminates ambient noise, allowing you to conduct your phone calls or listen to music without distracting noise from your surroundings. Each ear cup features dual microphones, one on the inside and one on the outside, to pick up and eliminate environmental noise. ANC can be turned on or off as desired using a dedicated toggle switch on right ear cup.
On-board Controls: The AH-GC20 has on-board controls on the right ear cup that work with most smartphones and tablets, including iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. A 3-way slide switch (left, right, push) lets you play/pause, and skip to next or previous track. A separate "rocker" switch raises or lowers the volume. On the left ear cup is a single "call" button for answering, ignoring, and ending a phone call, and placing a call on hold. These on-board controls only work when connected to your device via Bluetooth. They do not work if you're using the wired connection.
Cable: The headphones come with a 54" audio cable that lets you connect to your audio device when the battery gets low, or you can't use Bluetooth. The cable has a straight 3.5mm plug for connecting to the headphone and a right-angled 3.5mm plug for your audio device. The playback controls on the audio device must be used, as the headphones' on-board controls are disabled. You can, however, utilize the noise cancelling function while using the audio cable.
Rechargeable Battery: The AH-GC20s are powered by a rechargeable battery. The battery charges in approximately 3 hours via the included USB charging cable. The charging output should be rated at DC 5V 2.4A or less. The fully charged headphones have an estimated battery life of approximately 20 hours. You can listen to music from a paired Bluetooth device or make phone calls during charging, however, there may be noise in the headphones from the connected computer or charging source.
Denon Travel App: The Denon Travel app was designed to enhance the listening experience with the Global Cruiser AH-GC20 headphones. The app's premium audio player provides excellent sound quality from your digital music files or streaming services. You can also create and save EQ curves and playlists. Denon Travel offers a 5-band graphical EQ with 10 EQ presets and 3 audio effects (Virtualizer, Bass Boost, and Reverb) through an in-app purchase. You can save links to your favorite travel apps, such as Travelocity, Expedia, Kayak, etc., into the Denon Travel app to give you easy access. The Denon Travel app is compatible with Android devices running version 3.0 and up, and iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch running iOS 9.3 or later.
