Love these wedges. I recently moved from two Mac Daddy 3 wedges, 52 and 56 degrees, to three Mac Daddy 4 wedges, 50, 54, and 58 degree. I couldn't be happier with the improved scoring abilities carrying three wedges. I especially love the new 58 degree wedge in the X sole configuration. So versatile!

I was a little hesitate to purchase these because they weren't forged, I'm glad I did! The BEST feeling wedge I have hit, period. I would have never thought Callaway could make a better wedge than the original Mac Daddy, man was I wrong. I love the black finish as well, stock shaft was perfect, distance was better than I expected , but the feel is superb! If you're looking for new wedges, look no further!

Outstanding Feel!

On the first day I took my new wedges out I had immediate confidence in them. I got them as an alternative to some high end wedges that were not doing the job for me. Results were great.....on 6 of 9 holes they gave me the opportunity to get up and down. Four of those were sand shots to include a very short sided save. I am a 15 handicap and shot a 37. The only difference was the Mack Daddy 4s. Thanks Callaway!

WOW! Great wedges

I’ve played the MD4 for the last year, but in the raw finish and a different shaft. I updated my wedges to these, now with the same shaft as I put in my new Apex MBs for consistency. They perform great and the chrome finish compliments the finish on the MBs. They came clean and built to spec in less than a week! Very happy with my wedges!

Great wedges, now match my irons

I tried other wedges and they are ok. But I stayed with my set of wedges for another year or so. Then I was in need of more wedges. I thought I would try Callaway and buy a used 56 MD3 and see how I like them. I now own a 48, 52 and 56 in the MD 4 model. My wedge game improved my overall score be a few strokes. They are so easy to pitch chip or whatever. I love hitting flop shots with my 56. Hitting from 60 to 100 yds, the ball jumps in the air and the control is unreal. The club glides under the ball easily. I want ever hit another wedge. If someone wrote a bad review, i hope they weren't just having a bad round. I am only a midhandicapper so no pro but I definitely would recommend these to guys with my skill set better or worse. They are so fun to hit! Thank you Callaway!!

Best wedges to ever go in my bag

Hands down the best wedges I've ever used. Coming from the MD3 I wasn't sure if I'd notice a difference but these are certainly better. The spin from these is nothing short of amazing. Gotta believe it's the extra micro grooves that are showing the increased spin. I wouldn't want another wedge that didn't have them at this point. The C grind is by far, for my swing, and excellent performer. The S is no slouch either. Great wedges if you're in the market.

After buying the 60*, I have since purchased the 56*, 52* and 46* MD4 wedges. These are very nice wedges that are responsive and provide great feedback and spin. These are not the "longest" wedges but that is not something I was looking for as I prefer distance control and spin. The groove pattern and technology imparts a great deal of spin on the ball, especially on shots around the green. The sole options in the line allowed for a set makeup that fits my game and course conditions perfectly. The black matte finish is an added bonus that frames the ball very well and with zero glare on sunny days.

Great feel and spin

I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a new club or clubs to go to a local demo days to try out any clubs you are interested in. Also, a little more expensive, but a club fitting session is a great way to try clubs, shafts, lie angles, etc. to help your game. I tried the mac daddy 4 wedge at a local demo days and loved the way it felt and performed on the range. Thank you for a great quality product.

Great wedge!

Have been playing Cleveland wedges. Switched to CG15 from 588 because of new grooves. Enticed to upgrade to RTX-3 because of good experience of DSC grind wedges. Never got comfortable with RTX-3s. Tried different loft, bounce and shaft options.

Got interested in MD4 wedges because of positive reviews from numerous sources. From my experience positive reviews are accurate. Have now traded in all RTX-3 wedges for MD4s.

C grind plays great on firm Dallas area courses. Now believe the MD4 C grind is the best wedge I have played. It gives me the option to play the shot that is called for in the situation.

My wedge play is based on visualizing the shot needed and a feel for how to execute it. I'm not too mechanical, but have gotten my distances using the Pelz clock system. The distance control of the MD4 wedges has been remarkable.

I am not a high spin player so the spin of the MD4 wedges has been fine for me. With the C grind, I can vary the trajectory as needed.

Admire Callaway's innovation in using the DG 115 Tour issue shaft. I like the lighter shaft.

I agree with the one reviewer that said the chrome head looks larger than the Matt Black head sitting behind the ball. I have tried both finishes and prefer the Matt Black. The smaller appearance of the head seems to help me be more precise in my ball striking. It also is less reflective on sunny days.

best wedge I have played

Love the soft feel of these compared to SM Vokeys. Great control all around the green. Plus I like the black color. No glare in the sun, and tho the color seems very durable, but does wear a little. It's battle scars shows we've been through the wars together.
