I was dead set on replacing my aero burner with a callaway epic sub zero. Went to local shop to demo shaft options. After an hour of mediocre performance with epic in many configurations, the club fitter handed me a 2017 M1. Spin rate immediately went from 3000 to 1900. Distance went up by 10 yards average. And most importantly to me, Mis-hits weren't too bad. Only lost a few yards and wasn't losing them left or right (lower spin rate). Very happy with this purchase and am now feeling confident over my driver again!!!! Just wish it wasn't so darn expensive, but it is a great product!!!

I needed distance and i needed it badly. I loved my cobra fly z but it just wasn't giving me the yards I wanted. It was giving me 220 max. I picked the kuro kage shaft and it dropped my rpm from 3000+ to 1900-2100rpms! Most importantly though, it added 40+ yards on average. Now it carries 220+ and plenty of roll to go with it. I averaged 84 and the second round with my driver I shot 77! Only because of my driver and being able to put short irons and wedges in my hand after long tee shots. Even my mishits go 240! Best driver I've ever had! If I had one complaint it would be three sound. Maybe because it's so different from my cobra but honestly don't care! Didn't get it sound a certain way. I bought to give me distance and it did exactly that.

Long and forgiving!

Have been a TaylorMade Driver fan for a long time, but was always against the adjustable weights. I finally broke down and bought one, boy was I wrong! This is the best thing since apple pie. All I want to do is pull out that BadBoy. It is unbelievable how much pop you get off this club.The young bucks on my golf league are gonna have a hard time keeping up with this old man!

Love the TaylorMade Products / Drivers

This is the best driver Taylormade has ever made. It has everything feel, forgiveness and distance. A great selection of shaft choices to fit any golfer. I was fitted wit the Project X Hazardous yellow shaft and cannot believe the distance I am getting. Can't wait for warmer weather to really see the improvements.

EPIC?

I had a Callaway Epic Driver and had 2 shafts break on me. I'm 16 years old and have a club head speed of 112 mph. Very unordinary. I was angry about having 2 shafts break and didn't find the Epic to be as great as it is said to be. I returned it and bought the M1 and fell in love with it immediately. I gained 20+ yards off the tee due to the less amounts of spin. I easily can hit this Driver longer and straighter than the Epic. This Driver has an appealing look that makes you feel confident when you tee it up. It looks like it has a sweet spot a mile wide and it carries for days. I have no regrets making the decision to change to the M1.

Best Driver I've ever owned

So where do I begin..I only upgraded to the 2017 model because ummm I did!! I did compare the two before I made the change, the 2016 model I was hitting the ball 272 yards carry with 295 296 total yards. Now many may ask why would you want more in yards, well this is where it gets good. 2017 M1 carry 295 to 297 yards and total is a whopping 317 321. I also learned that my swing speed being 109 to 110 that all my numbers were right on point(Spin, etc)....The only thing is that I did not have to make any adjustments to the club, everything is positioned neutral. I have my first tournament of the year coming up and I am excited to bring this bad boy to the party, I will have alot of folks chasing me....Great work Taylormade

Upgraded from the 2016 M1 to the 2017 model, just because...

After toying with many drivers, the new M1 performed the best. Carrying the ball over 280 yards on a rope. The occasional miss hits are close to the best drives with my prior drivers. I do have a low spin mid launch shaft which has helped my game tremendously

Hands down the best driver

I tend to not be the best striker of the ball and often produce a high slice. This driver is marketed towards lower handicapped golfers, but do not be fooled, this can be used by anyone if set up correctly. I am fortunate in that my clubhead speed is fairly high so I benefit majorly from this driver. The fitting process has given me some of the best numbers I've ever had! Officially in love!

Best investment I have ever made

Just came back from a round of golf and scored 5 over par 72 course. What an exceptional Driver the M! is! I look forward every hole to use this bad boy! Hitting straighter and harder than before (+40) yards up to 292 longest drive. I'm very pleased and cnnot wait to get back out there again to golf with this beast!

What a difference a good Driver makes!

I ordered a driver and a 3 wood and both showed up damaged. The white plastic on the top of both heads is cut unevenly and looks awful. The 3 wood also had a large chip in it and a pea sized scuff near the TaylorMade logo on the white part of the crown, as if something metal had been rubbing up against it. It is very distracting at address. I know clubs get beat up as we use them but the quality of these clubs out of the box is very disappointing.
