I had never used an M2 SSD. I had always considered it a luxury but after seeing the price and specs i couldn't pass up the offer. To say it is fast is a lie. This thing is beyond fast. replacing my 7200rpm HDD with this was like going from VHS to Bluray.  Everything feels instant, copying is immediate, and you forget the computer is on because there is no noise. 
The biggest issue is it will spoil you. After using this and then using regular HDD's at work feels so slow now.  You feel like you might as well be using Windows 95.
Heck even using SDD hard drives feels laggy.
Highly recommend the product, just remember it will make everything else feel much slower.

It will ruin ALL your other computer experiences

Very pleased with this purchase. The NVMe SSD was delivered quickly and as described. Worth noting is the packaging does NOT include a mounting screw for the SSD. My motherboard came with a few extra so it wasn't an issue. Walmart.com had this item for a great price and it arrived within 2 days of placing the order.

This M.2 came in quickly and was easy to set up. I also haven't had any issues with it so far, my PC starts up quickly and it loads up various programs extremely fast.

Fast and Reliable

Purchased this with a new motherboard.  Installation was very simple. Installed Windows 10 from a USB 3.0 stick in a few minutes.
During the configuration of Windows and the installation of the drivers from the motherboard application, I didn't even realize my computer was rebooting. I thought it was just the screen flickering.  The reboot took 4 seconds!!!!!!
Anyway, pretty awesome to have this running.  I tested the speed using the Samsung Magician software and my read clocked higher than the MAX read of 3,400 MB/s and the Write was at the advertised MAX.

Great Perfromance boost

Very fast M.2 2280 Key M and Samsung quality. I just wish I had gotten more storage space, I didn't realize how quickly I could fill one of these up.

Super awesome M.2 and reliable Samsung quality

The 970 Evo seriously sped up everyday processes from the standard SSD that came with the desktop.  Absolutely no more lag and even Google maps has faster load times with less CPU load.  Basically made all components in the desktop more responsive with less bottlenecking using the same RAM, GPU and CPU.

Great M.2 SSD at an amazing price

Wanted to go ahead and upgrade my new pc with an ssd before i got to much on the computer. This was easy to install, and no problems running a clean install on it. Computer was back up and running in no time. Very happy with this purchase and the price it was at

Good speed, but cost is increasing . Now there are other vendors matching speed and reliability with lower cost.

I've purchased TWO of these units for a new build for a computer that is using Windows 7. ( I refuse to let go with a perfectly fine and stable OS...) The problem that I have been having for the past week, is that I am unable to get the SSD drivers to be loaded onto the stick before I can do a clean Windows install. It would be super helpful if Samsung could include a self-executable to preload the drivers so the Windows install would go flawless. I have been trying multiple methods to get this installed, and am STILL stumped !  At this rate, Samsung will come out with a new version, and I will STILL have not gotten this drive installed !
